What can I say about my experience with For.M Design. From the start, it was a collaboration that was not just respectful and professional; but a joy. I've worked with several trades and have had great relationships with them but Mary went above expectation. I always enjoyed visiting her studio workshop and listening to her enthusiastically show me all the new materials she was working with. She made her workplace a welcome place. When it came down to getting things done, she was flexible when I had changes to original ideas. It's important for me that a trade partner can have sensibility to respond to a clients changes with a smile. Anyone that has seen Mary's designs knows how beautiful and creative each piece is. What they may not be aware of is how dedicated she is to everything she creates. Her level of service and attention to detail is above and beyond. Our home has been blessed with several of these pieces and we couldn't be happier. Mary designed, created and installed our stunning beams in our vaulted living room, our beautiful fireplace mantel and our show stopping kitchen table & bench. We also called on her to refinish an old family table and buffet - "Can I suggest something a little different" she asked? What we didn't realize at the time was that she would use her tremendous foresight to create a completely new look. She took our very traditional looking dinning room furniture and transformed them into modern and elegant pieces, which still managed to maintain a hint of tradition... absolutely stunning! After searching for years for someone who was willing and able to refinish a family dry bar I found Mary. We shared a few brief conversations and within seconds I knew I had picked the right person. When I dropped off the (broken and old) dry bar she told me that it would take some time but she was very excited to work on it. Fast forward to the final product and it is beautiful. Trust Mary with your soul and she will make it even more beautiful, and timeless. The dry bar is amazing and it brought tears of joy to my dad and his sisters.
