I am a Maker, the ever curious adventurer

Earths energy resonates in everything we touch, if we sit still long enough, you can feel it.‍ ‍

“Life moves through seasons, each one arriving with its own new rhythm. Over time, that rhythm softens and deepens, and it’s within that movement that my work is born. Art has been a steady companion through every chapter; now it is a place where my experience can settle, breath slow, and let beauty reveal itself.”

Designer Mary Warnock works through an organic, tactile process of discovery every time she holds a raw material, whether it be metal, wood, or stone. Guided by intuition, she listens to what each element wants to become, allowing furniture, installations, and architectural details to emerge through patience rather than force.

Based in Cambridge, Ontario, her practice is a quiet homage to her childhood in the Canadian Rockies, where wild landscapes, weathered trunks, and changing skies nurtured a lifelong love of natural form and texture. That early wonder now lives in the grainlines, hand-carved edges, and sculpted silhouettes of every For.M Design Project.

For.M Design is a single-designer studio dedicated to wood sculpture, fine metalwork, bespoke furniture, and deeply considered interiors. In renovations she treats structure like a layered story. Framing, surfaces, and light are gently peeled back to find the heart of each home or corporate space, then rebuilt around that truth with care. Working closely with architects, builders, and local craftspeople, she creates spaces that feel grounded and personal.

Beneath it all Mary’s work honours the poetry that waits patiently in the grain. Shaping each space as an invitation to breathe a little deeper, move a little slower, and feel quietly held by the wood and the world around you.
