SOLD Keiha Bloodwood Tray

CA$160.00
sold out

This tray was carved from a single piece of salvaged blood wood, which is native to the swamp lands of Africa. The remaining carving gouges have been left to enhance the patina, and to create a connection with the tree it once was.

I only use exotic hardwoods when I have salvaged them from an antique piece of furniture or from a construction demolition.

Please note: As each piece is finished with food safe oil, the wood continues to loft for a period of time, this is a natural process, which eventually disappears with use.
